Round the Woods family, hosting glamping in Norfolk

Meet the family

Welcome to our home. This place is very special to us and it fills us with joy and pride to see happy guests sharing it with us. It’s why we do what we do.

We are Seb, Kate and our two wild and wonderful boys Elliot and Dylan.  We’ve lived onsite since 2014 when we chose to leave behind a hectic and stressful life in London to get back to our roots and closer to nature. We run a smallholding, home educate our boys and dedicate ourselves to sharing this beautiful place with our guests.

We really love it here and spend our free time getting close to nature, creating things, soaking up the sun, playing games and enjoying each other’s company.

Family is very important to us and we live in a house of 3 generations. When you visit you might run into Grandad Adrian weeding the veg plot, Nanna Jen feeding the chickens, or Grandma Sheila chasing after the boys.

For more information about the site and your stay, please see our FAQ page or contact us, we love answering your questions.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create the most memorable, effortless and relaxing experience of glamping in Norfolk.

Space, privacy and personal service

We choose to offer our guests plentiful space, privacy and personal service rather than packing the site full of numerous units to benefit our bottom line.

High quality, spacious accommodation

We take great pride in our accommodation. We were very particular about the yurts we chose for the site and actually built the roundhouse by hand so that we could personally ensure the highest quality and practicality. We oversee our superb cleaning team to ensure high levels of cleanliness.

Attention to detail

Over the years we have considered every detail of your stay and aim to provide all that you might need. The roundhouse and yurts are packed with little touches to help keep you delighted throughout your stay.

Effortless guest experience

We are always available to support you, provide an app to help plan your stay, create guides to help you choose the best local experiences and live onsite to help with any requests or questions during your stay.

Sustainably managed 20 acre site

Seb has become a qualified tree surgeon since we moved to Norfolk, in order to proactively manage the site. It is important to us that we provide guests with ample space to enjoy and explore, whilst making the most of the natural features of the site to encourage wildlife. Environmental sustainability is central to all our decisions and we do everything that we can to ensure that Round the Woods has the lowest possible impact.
